Chem. 100 Reading, Homework and Lab Assignments
Office hours for Fall are MWF, 9:40 am - 11:40 am
Office hours for Spring are MWF, 10:00 am - 11:50 am

Reading and Homework:

Reading and Homework assignments appear at the header of each set of class notes, and are tailored to the material covered within each respective packet - this helps connect these respective assignments using a common theme. Example:

Chemical Reactions - Part 1

Reading:

Ch 6 sections 1 - 3

Homework:

5.3 questions 17, 18*
6.1 question 2
6.2 questions 8, 10*, 12, 14, 16, 22

Important: Students are strongly advised to complete the reading, class work and then homework in a cyclic manner, i.e. complete the packet's reading before coming to class (this prepares students for the lecture); work through the interactive class notes within the packet during class (this is where the material is learnt); and then complete the homework assignments as soon as possible after class (this cements understanding of the material).
